Best Practices
- Specify the type - Ask for “mobile” or “work” phone if it matters
- Explain why - Tell respondents how you’ll use their number
- Offer alternatives - Some prefer email contact over phone
- Keep optional - Only require if phone contact is essential
- Consider format - International surveys need flexible formatting
Use Cases
Lead Generation
Collect phone numbers for sales follow-up:
“What’s the best number to reach you?”

Gather contact details for reminders:
“Enter your mobile number for appointment reminders”
Customer Support
Enable phone callbacks:
“Phone number for callback (optional)“
Event Registration

International Considerations
For surveys reaching multiple countries:
- Enable country selection - Let respondents choose their country
- Use international format - Support + country codes
