Monitoring Survey Responses

Once your survey is live, you can watch responses arrive in real time without opening a full report. This guide shows where response counts appear and what they mean.

The Collect Dashboard

The quickest way to check activity is the Collect page for your survey. At the top you’ll see a Total Responses card showing the combined count across every collector.

Below the card, the All Collectors table lists each collector you’ve created with these columns:

ColumnWhat it shows
NicknameThe name of the collector (e.g. Email Invitation 1, Web Link 1)
StatusWhether the collector is open, draft, or closed
ResponsesNumber of responses collected through that collector
Date ModifiedWhen the collector was last changed

This lets you compare which distribution channels are performing best at a glance.

Email Invitation Details

If you’re distributing via email, open the email collector to see an Overview tab with two donut charts:

  • Invitations - total invitations sent, broken down by clicked, bounced, and unanswered.
  • Respondents - total responses, split into completed and partially completed.

The Recipients tab lists each individual recipient and their delivery status, so you can spot bounces or follow up with people who haven’t responded yet.

Viewing Counts in Analyze

For a deeper look, open the Analyze section. The summary report reflects the number of respondents included in your report. When you apply filters, a banner shows how many respondents match, for example FILTERED: 42 of 108 respondents, so you always know the size of the group you’re analyzing.

If your plan has a response limit, a notice appears letting you know how many of the total responses are currently viewable.

Next Steps

When you’re ready to interpret the results, move on to analyzing your survey results to build charts, filter data, and export reports.
